Islam guaranteed human beings dignity and honor 1400 years ago. On the occasion of World Human rights day, GIO organized a symposium with respect to Human Rights. With countless human rights violations and painful atrocities happening around the globe, it has become imperative to voice our concern.
The campaign was addressed by social activists, Doctors, teachers and lawyers, and presided over by Nasera Khanum Sahaba, President JIH Womens Wing. All of them urging the need to fully realize the need to understand human value, equality and brotherhood.
Islam has always stood for the rights of the poor, the minorities, women, children and society as a whole. The rights and freedom are for all, irrespective of race, gender, caste, nationality, language, color or status. It is mentioned in the Holy Quran “O mankind, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing of you.8 Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
