With its yearly initiative to organize summer camps, Gio Telengana and Odisha conducted educational and fun- filled camps across the state. The camps included sessions of understanding the Quran, Hifz, Tajweed course, Seerah of various prophets, Sahabas and prominent Muslim personalities, interactive sessions, speeches on myriad issues, educational seminars, holistic competitions to carve out the creative edge of the participants and super fun games!
The camps were carried out for over a period of 15 days and at some places for 10 days. Over 2500 students were reached through these camps. The purpose to schedule these camps is to create an awareness among the young minds about learning their deen, working for their deen and getting to know their deen. 
Also, The trend of Islamic summer camps can be of immense benefit as the students can utilize their summers in a more productive way.
“This was the best experience i have had so far, my perspective towards my deen has changed, i have gained so much knowledge and made great new friends”, said one of the students at the camp. Gio envisions shaping the minds of students and young females in the light of Quran and Sunnah. To make them informed about their religion and the roles and responsibilities they must play.
