Girls Islamic Organisation of Telangana (GIO) is a student organisation for girls. It is the daughter organisation of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. Girls Islamic Organisation (GIO) came to existence under the patronage of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. It releases the potential of womenfolk in moulding the society’s future. It also intends to uplift the girls and enhance their power of action and reaction.
For a long time, GIO functioned as a part of the Women’s Wing of the JIH local unit. Later, it was established as a full-fledged state level organization. GIO actively works in various states including Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala And Karnataka. This is the official blog of Girls Islamic Organisation, Telangana And Odisha Zone.
To promote and cultivate true knowledge and understanding of Islam among female students and young women.
To prepare girls and young women to lead their individual and collective lives in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.
To mobilize girls to promote virtues and uproot evils from the society.
To promote better academic and moral atmosphere in educational institutions.
To provide an all round development of every individual female, nourish their talents, skills and make them a useful asset for the society.
GIO made me realise my true purpose, clear vision and lead me towards correct guidance. It helped me get closer to Allah, not drift aimlessly and more over GIO helped me in contributing my part in the reconstruction and betterment of the society!
GIO was a source of development both spritually and wordly. It's activities had a great impact on my personality all through! Helped me grab on various interests like improving my speaking and reading skills and helped me follow on, and I found a whole group of true friends who guided and encouraged me all along.
Girls Islamic Organisation of Telangana (GIO) is a student organisation for girls who’s aim is To prepare female students and young women for the reconstruction of the society in the Divine Light of Guidance.
